Albany Times Union (March 3, 2011) - 'The Brew Ha-Ha Comedy Showcase Celebrates’'
Local comic and comedy promoter Greg Aidala celebrates the fifth anniversary of his Brew Ha-Ha Comedy Showcase on Saturday. The showcase, which brings midlevel comics with national performing and TV credits to town, has been held at a variety of venues in the Capital Region and New York City. The latest stop is Chipshots Sports Bar & Restaurant at the Town of Colonie Golf Course. Aidala will host the show, featuring headliner Pat Dixon, whose resume includes "Comedy Central Presents", VH1's "Best Week Ever" and "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson."

From one of Dixon's routines: "I think the best part of any relationship is the engagement, because at that time you're like, 'Well, I want to spend the rest of my life with you, but not yet.' You still have that feeling of excitement, you still have hope. You have a fiancée. It's even a nice-sounding word, fiancée. "It makes you want to call home. After that you have a spouse. A damn spouse. It makes you want to call an exterminator; you've got a spouse in the house. I've had a couple of spouses, or spice? I've been through two marriages, two divorces, one attempted murder."
